
The photographer, Mr L. B. jefferies, has a broken leg. To spend his time, he watches his neighbors through his flat's window, with his téléphoto lens. His nurse, Stella, often visits, and his girlfriend , Lisa, also visits. By obsreving his neighbors, he suspects more and more that Mr Thorwald killed his wife and his neighbor's dog. First, he sends an anonymous letter to Mr. Thorwald, then, he asks Lisa and Stella to go to the yard to find Mrs. Thorwald's body. But Lisa who has found Mrs Thorwald's jewels in Mr THorwald's flat, is caught by him, and askes for jeff's help. Mr Thorwald, who now knows who suspects hiù, fight with Jeff, who had called the police and his friend, detective Doyle. Mr Thorwald defends Jeff but gets arrested by the police. Jeff pulls through with another broken leg. At the end, we learn that Mr Thorwald has burried his wife's body in the yard after having cut her into pieces, and he killed the dog which had smelled the body through the ground. Finally, Mr Thorwald gets the body's pieces out, and traps them near East River.
I think this film is good because there is a lot of suspense. So it is normal becaus it's an Alfred Hitchcock's film. And it's so funny at the end when we see Jeff with the both broken leg.
